Free First Aid CPD for educators
Our free First Aid CPD course from our Humankind programme gives educators the confidence, knowledge and practical tools to teach young people essential lifesaving skills. Designed for educators of young people aged 11–18, this free course transforms the way first aid is introduced in classrooms and youth settings.
Following our Everyday First Aid approach, the course focuses on simple techniques that help young people act in an emergency. By completing the course, you’ll improve your own confidence in the subject and gain the skills to deliver first aid education in an engaging and accessible way.
Learning outcomes for this course include:
- Understand and apply the Everyday First Aid teaching approach.
- Understand how to navigate and utilise the First Aid Champions website to effectively teach first aid skills
- Be able to use our teaching resources to engage young people on the topic of first aid.
- Be able to use our first aid skill videos to enhance your confidence in first aid teaching
The course is available in multiple learning formats—including online e-learning, virtual masterclasses, and face‑to‑face sessions—making it easy to fit into a busy timetable.
