First aid for an asthma attack

Step 1
Someone having an asthma attack may find it hard to breathe. They may make a wheezing sound. Help them to sit down and rest.

Step 2
Tell them not to worry, and that you are going to help them.

Step 3
Help them to use their inhaler.

Step 4
Tell an adult.
