How to help someone who is unresponsive and breathing

Step 1.
Look at their chest or stomach to see if it is moving. If they are breathing, their chest or stomach will move.
Due to the risks of Covid-19, do not listen or feel for breathing by placing your ear and cheek close to the patient’s mouth.

Step 2.
Move them onto their side and tilt their head back.

Step 3.
Call 999 immediately or get someone else to do it.
